Ivanteyevsky District (Russian: Ивантеевский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Saratov Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,000 square kilometers (770 sq mi).[3] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Ivanteyevka.[2] Population: 15,186 (2010 Census);[4] 16,151 (2002 Census);[9] 15,972 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Ivanteyevka accounts for 40.2% of the district's total population.[4]
