Receptor sličan tirozinskoj proteinskoj kinazi 7 je enzim koji je kod ljudi kodiran PTK7genom.[1][2]
Receptorske proteinske tirozinske kinaze prenose ekstracelularne signale kroz ćelijsku membranu. Jednoj podgrupi tih kinaza nedostaje primetna katalitička aktivnost tirozinske kinaze, mada zadržavaju ulogu u prenosu signala. Protein kodiran ovim genom ima intracelularni domen koji je hologan sa tirozinskim kinazama. Smatra se da on deluje kao ćelijski adhezioni molekul. Ovaj gen se izražava u karcinomima debelog creva, a nije prisutan u normalnim ćelijama debelog creva, i stoga je jedan od markera progresije tumora. Poznate su četiri transkriptne varijante koje kodiraju četiri različite izoforme.[2]
