Not clear what the purpose of this redirect is. The article mentions the Grand Prix of Houston, which could plausibly be nicknamed "Streets of Houston", but if so then Grand Prix of Houston is a better target (and doesn't mention it as a nickname). Delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 18:21, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Streets of Houston is the name of the circuit not the name of the event. The article Grand Prix of Houston is about the event. Streets of Houston should adress its location. --Mark McWire (talk) 21:56, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Retarget to Houston#Roadways (or any other similar target anyone can find), similar to streets of Denver, streets of Los Angeles, streets of St. Louis, streets of Vancouver, etc. Based on usage in reliable sources [1][2], the WP:PRIMARYREDIRECT of the phrase "streets of Houston" is streets in general, not the race course specifically. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:28, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd support this suggestion, and we can add a hatnote pointing to Grand Prix of Houston as well. signed, Rosguill talk 18:28, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Retarget to Houston#Roadways per IP with a hatnote pointing to the Grand Prix article. CycloneYoris talk! 08:36, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible redirect. Seventyfiveyears at 12:59, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, this thing has been helpful to many people since February 2005, and doesn't seem to be in the way of anything. Also "Looney" and "Loony" are pretty much pronounced the same, so it's a plausible alternative spelling. Regards, SONIC678 13:35, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- But what about Toons? --Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 17:10, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- It’s a phonetically plausible misspelling, it’s literally also a shortened form of "Cartoons". CycloneYoris talk! 17:35, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

- Delete per nom. The only plausible misspelling of the article title is Loony Tunes. --Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 17:10, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep as a plausible misspelling. In fact, I think this is how I remember the name. OcelotCreeper (talk) 18:41, 16 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep and tag as ((R from misspelling)). Successor Tiny Toon Adventures provides additional support for plausible misspelling. —Ost (talk) 15:32, 17 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep For at least the "Toons" part, I'm in the same boat as OcelotCreeper, and I never paid enough attention as a kid to realize it was a double entendre. Perhaps because of the reasoning Ost316 contributed to some bias in my memory later in life. As for Loony, that seems like a pretty plausible error as well given that it is the more common general spelling. -2pou (talk) 22:19, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this is the correct venue to nominate category redirects. There are 3 "Heroes" television series with articles. This redirect should be deleted as it shouldn't point any of them. Gonnym (talk) 10:04, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The series was never a "TV serial", nor are any other entries at Heroes#Television refereed to as such. Gonnym (talk) 09:53, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Question Why was it never a TV serial? It was literally told in a "sequential episode-by-episode fashion." Anecdotally, I agree that it wasn't referred to as a serial, but it was definitely serial storytelling. A lot of TV became more serialized around this time, but you don't hear the term very much. A 24 (TV serial) wouldn't be too WP:ASTONISHing if it existed. It doesn't look like it's used very much, though, so I'm not going be hard over on arguing WP:RHARMFUL. -2pou (talk) 22:31, 18 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep Each episode continues from the last - there is a "Previously" sequence at the start of each episode (except Chapter One). You need to watch from the start in order to follow the plot, it's not like Wagon Train which may be watched in almost any order. It's a serial, no doubt. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:20, 23 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target article. It's an early draft name of the character, but probably out of scope of the article, and it's not likely people are constantly searching for this. [3] Hog Farm Bacon 02:13, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep, on principle, as all similar synonym redirects should be kept please. They are readily cited and where necessary - please don't create a flood of busy-work - can be added to the target articles. I've added and cited this one per WP:BELT-AND-BRACES or something, but the point I'd like to establish is that since redirects are cheap, and this type is verifiably correct even if used only by a small minority, they should not be deleted. Very likely there are other classes of Middle-earth redirect that also deserve to stay. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:09, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The target is not a county and is not called Xinxi in English nor in Japanese. The ancient Runan Commandery had an administrative division by this name which may be notable per WP:GEOLAND, so delete per WP:R#D10. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 02:06, 15 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
