- Nominator's rationale: Pretty trivial and overly narrow. Contains only four games, two of which are based on the same movie. Nohomersryan (talk) 03:28, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- The result of the discussion was: merge to ‹The template Category link is being considered for merging.› Category:Canadian people stubs (non-admin closure) Marcocapelle (talk) 06:19, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Nominator's rationale: Recent (July 2021) creation, with no evidence of having been proposed or approved by Wikipedia:WikiProject Stub sorting (as is required for new stub categories) and not containing enough articles to justify it: there are just seven biographical articles here besides the template itself, where the WikiProject normally requires a minimum of 60 before it approves a new stub category. We do not have an established practice of routinely subcategorizing ‹The template Category link is being considered for merging.› Category:Canadian people stubs by individual province of residence -- there is an isolated exception for Quebec, but that's because New France/Quebec existed for almost 300 years before Canadian confederation and even once included a large portion of what's now the United States, meaning that there are a lot of notable historical figures from pre-Confederation Quebec who would be woefully mistagged if we just stub-sorted them as "Canadian". But that historical nuance doesn't apply to Saskatchewan, which was created as a Canadian province from the jump and has never existed as anything else, so there's no real reason why sorting stubs for residence in Saskatchewan would be important enough to override the size and lack of project approval. (And, for that matter, even some of the very few people on whom the template is being used are ones for whom Saskatchewan is actually quite tangential to their notability, such as a person who was born in Saskatchewan but then moved to British Columbia and attained his notability as a politician in British Columbia, and thus didn't have any critically important reason to be templated as a Saskatchewan biography.)
So the Saskatchewan-bio-stub template should just go back to sorting its entries into ‹The template Category link is being considered for merging.› Category:Canadian people stubs, exactly as it did for 14 years until this was created two months ago, because a standalone stub category for just seven people is not warranted. - Nominator's rationale: Upmerge to parent. Category serves no useful purpose and five of its nine entries are common to both parent and child cats. No Great Shaker (talk) 19:45, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- Propose merging Category:Jewish bacteriologists to Category:Jewish microbiologists
- Nominator's rationale: Too specialised to categorise by ethnicity. No suggestion that bacteriology is different when practiced by Jews. Rathfelder (talk) 18:28, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

- Nominator's rationale: Small cat containing only a players category, the main article, and two logos. User:Namiba 15:59, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- The template is up for deletion as well. The typical standard for keeping categories is 5 articles and the potential for growth. This team is now a summer-league college level team. There is little potential for growth.--User:Namiba 10:52, 7 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Five items, rather than five articles - lists and subcats in particular are usually counted. Less so files, I'll admit, but the category now does have five articles even excluding them. Grutness...wha? 12:41, 8 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
