Hello Kataariveera, it is suggested to not add any kind of information from improper (or atleast unreliable according wikipedia's policy) sites such as Tollywood.net, Sacnlik.com, Koimoi, etc. As you asked for the link, you can go to the discussion page of Indian cinema task force. I understand that only saclink and Koimoi were only cited as unrelaible over there. If you wish to add Tollywood.net as one of the reliable sources, then you can start a discusion regarding that. Until and unless it is added in the list, you are not allowed to it as a source in any of the wikipedia's article, etc.... Jayanthkumar123 (talk) 3:15, 9 May 2022 (UTC)

Can you translate this Does it mean something like: "Naveen Kumar wrote the song "Chaliyagtide", which reused the title theme of Aashiqui 2". This information is from Bombay Mittai (2015 film)#Soundtrack from this source. DareshMohan (talk) 06:21, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Partially right - exact translation would be - " The song "Chaliyaagtide" written by Naveen Kumar re-uses the tune of the title track of Aashiqui 2"..
No.. "Anand" is his friend's name who is seated beside him & crying. Prasad's name in the movie is "Sandesh". You can listen at 10:38 in the same clip ( where he is referred as " Sandesha") Kataariveera (talk) 17:17, 29 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Literal translation - "Naanu" - I/Me/Myself ; "Nanna Kanasu" - " My Dream".
So, it can be considered as " Me & My Dream" or " I & My Dream" - whichever is grammatically more correct. However, please do note that the lead character's daughter's name is also Kanasu ( so the title is actually meant to denote the daughter as well as "dream" - so "Kanasu" is used in the title to mean both).. The original "Abhiyum Naanum" means " Abhi & I" ( Abhi is daughter's name) ... So " Naanu Nanna Kanasu" can be " I & my dream" as well as " Me & my daughter Kanasu"...
No.. the word "Basu" in the title doesn't represent a name ( like in Anurag Basu) rather it's pronounced as 'Baasu' which is the Kannada slang for "Boss" ( Boss became "Boss u" who should have been written as "Baasu" but eventually "Basu" was used). "Kaasu" means "money". "Kaasu Iddone Basu" means "Guy with money is the Boss".
If "Basu" is confusing, using the spelling "Baasu" may also be appropriate but in any case it is not the character name. Kataariveera (talk) 09:30, 3 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
The article mentions correctly - Deepu played Ramya and Santoshi played Sowmya. I don't remember anyone with the name "Latha" in the movie. However, there is a character called "Laila". Kataariveera (talk) 16:01, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Just Maat Maatalli is a good movie but very very slow and may not be liked by all. However, climax is good. Rajakumara first half is average but the second half is thoroughly engaging, emotional & entertaining. Shrimurali has only 3 good movies [Chandrachakori, Ugramm, Mufti] and 2 average movie a [Rathavara, Yashwanth] in his career. All 3 movies - Karva, Kirik Party & Ondu Motteya Kathe are worth watching. All movies of Rakshit Shetty in lead roles are conceptually different and are good except Vastuprakara and Ricky. Raj B Shetty worth watching movies where he is a lead are OMK, Garuda Gamana Vrushubha Vahana (GGVV) and Mayabazaar 2016. Rishab's good movies as lead actor are Kantara & Bell Bottom. Kataariveera, I think you haven't read the article carefully. No problem, it happens with everyone. Actually, I hadn't added the article as the source for box office numbers, it was someone else who did that. I already checked the article and I found that Rs.344 crore is the gross collection in India and Rs.33 crore is the gross collection from overseas, so the total collection is Rs.377 crore. This article in pinkvilla is mainly talking about the collections in India, but has also mentioned the collections from overseas.
This is an excerpt from the article --
"The total box office collections of the film in India are nearing Rs. 350 crores, with Rs. 344 crores to date. It has grossed another $4 million (Rs. 33 crores) overseas, for a worldwide total of Rs. 377 crores, possibly targeting Rs. 400 crores at the end of its run."
If you find something wrong here, then please tell me. I will rectify that.

Another doubt, critic R. G. Vijayasarathy wrote two reviews for many Kannada films. Usually one for Nowrunning and then one for Rediff, is there a reason why he did that? Interestingly, both reviews are worded differently.
Yes, it means "courtesy:Vijaya Karnataka". However, since the link is for filmibeat website, I am not sure whether it can be used as source. Let me know if you are absolutely sure that we can use it, after which I shall translate & update the draft. Kataariveera (talk) 15:05, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
R G Vijayasarathy was a highly respected critic who was non hesitant to call spade a spade. Maybe he felt it is not ethical to give same review to 2 websites and earn money from both. Hence maybe since he received remuneration from both, he wrote 2 reviews. Kataariveera (talk) 15:08, 24 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
No need to translate because the draft was rejected. R G Vijayasarathy seems to be popular but if he did not write any full length books and only film reviews, then it is hard to make an article on him. Found this but nothing at all before his death. DareshMohan (talk) 09:21, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You rarely come across articles about Kannada film reviewers because they are mostly film journalists and nobody writes specifically about them. It's also difficult to find source material to make an article on them. Kataariveera (talk) 16:28, 2 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The translation is reasonably good except for few words like "self congratulations" wrongly used instead or a better word "self glorification". Similarly, instead of "Vapti" use "boundaries". The phrase " story of his birth in the monastery courtyard" should be " story of the monastery" and in place where "not surprising" is used, it should have been "not engaging".
There is this source. What's your role in Yashwanth? I play Rakshita's mom in it. I am a very strict mother, and the daughter's over-protected. In fact, she calls me Hitler at one point in the movie! It's a love story, between Rakshita and Murali. In the movie, I have a brother who fools me, and has designs on my daughter. The same man is also responsible or my separation from my husband. Although I can't create the article without the Deccan Herald review. @Kailash29792: Can you save the review (http://archive.deccanherald.com/Deccanherald/feb062005/mr3.asp)?
Given that their is two reviews (Rediff - 12) and one is not viewable (Deccan Herald), do you think these films are still article worthy? I feel like prioritizing Shambhu because it has another review (1). The issue is that I need help finding sources.
1. Both Shambu & Gopi are not worthy (except that Gopi is a remake of Mahesh Babu movie Murari).
2. Deccan Herald reviews - links avaliable in archives but they are not readable. So you wont be able to use DC for old movies. Suggest you to look for alternatives.
Okay, no problem. One doubt is Shambu a remake of Thirumalai (2003)? The Nowrunning and Rediff reviews mention the film as "Tirumalai". Can I consider the Nowrunning and Rediff reviews as two different reviews (bothe reviews are written by R. G. Vijayasarathy although the content is different)? Along with the Indiaglitz and dead-link Deccan Herald review, that is four reviews in total. DareshMohan (talk) 09:07, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Shambu is not a remake. Kannada movies of 2000s had a bad habit of copying 2 or 3 sequences from Tamil & Telugu movies. Same was the case with Shambhu. It cannot be considered as remake.
Nowrunning & Rediff can be considered as 2 separate reviews since the wordings are totally different (though by same person). You can consider all 4 reviews. Kataariveera (talk) 14:28, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you include the Deccan Herald review for Green Signal (2005)? Per this (WP:V), Do not reject reliable sources just because they are difficult or costly to access. Some reliable sources are not easily accessible. DareshMohan (talk) 06:10, 31 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I know this is a huge task but could you help add Rajesh Krishnan's Kannada songs from 1990s, 2000s to his page. I think the best approach would be to create an article called List of Kannada songs sung by Rajesh Krishnan if the list is too long. DareshMohan (talk) 03:34, 21 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
There is a high chance of him being Siddhanth - though face cut does look different. Director Dwarkish who had a rift with Vishnuvardhan introduced an Odia actor (name not known) & renamed him Harshavardhan as a competition and did this movie. However, the movie flopped & Harshavardhan never acted in any Kannada movie. The hero is having moustache because it is the trend in Kannada to have moustache for hero. All major lead actors have it - except Shivarajkumar & Puneeth. Check for old movies of Mohapatra for any scene where he has moustache. Also the heroine of this movie Nithya is said to be Malayalam actress Maria who became famous for soft porn. Check from that angle too. Kataariveera (talk) 14:57, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I took your word for it. He has a mustache in this film. It looks like for the Kannada film, they changed his appearance to make him look like a hero (his cheeks, earlobes look different). DareshMohan (talk) 08:04, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the video. I can confirm it is him - yes they have changed the appearance slightly to make him look more of a hero material Kataariveera (talk) 14:22, 4 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi... You are right. The guy's name is Vishwas. Recently, Gauri Kalyana producer Dwarakish expired. In this article, he mentions about how he changed Vishwas' name to Harshavardhan for "Gowri Kalyana". He says Vishwas was a " shuttlecock champion".
"Neene" is the colloquial form of "Neenu" which means "You". " Neene" is used mostly to denote "Only You". Eg. " Neene beku" means "I want only you" [beku = want]. "Neene baa" means "You only come" [baa = come]. Kataariveera (talk) 02:16, 12 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry for my edits on Baashha, Hum (film), Soma (1996 film) and Kotigobba. Upon closer inspection of Soma (1996 film) given that it has a sister scene from Baashha and a similar autokaaransong, it looks like it is based on Baashha and not Hum. DareshMohan (talk) 00:12, 22 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Are you sure that Baashha was inspired by Hum (film)? Have you seen both films? See the responses to this. Other than "Bombay don in exile theme", "brother/sister sentiment", and "hidden past" was there any similarities? This might be an example of Wikipedia:Citogenesis. Based on the Baashha article, the film is based on a discussed scene of Hum (film) that was not filmed. Baashha also does not have the scenes at the dock like Hum (film) does. DareshMohan (talk) 00:18, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thats the reason the wordings used is based on/adapted / inspired and not copied or remake. Apart from the 3 plot points mentioned by you, here are few more similarities:
and
d) Hero taking up small time work (farming/auto) to hide his past.
e) Inspector brother
f) The look & getup of the villain (Bhaktavar/ Mark Anthony) in the second half
g) The guys who actually ransack villain 's home & kill his wife putting the blame on the hero.
h) The villain believing the words of that guy & deciding to take revenge once he is out of the jail
i)Kidnapping female family member of the hero by the villain in the climax.
j) The telephone sequence - where the villain calls & asks the family member to hand over the phone to hero referring to his old name (Tiger /Baashha) and the family member telling wrong number
k) Inspector Brother blaming the hero's past acts
l) Female family member - who is aware of the hero past - explaining the sacrifices of the hero to brother
Hence it is clear , the movie isn't a copy - I am against calling it a remake. But saying the movie is not at all based/inspired also seems wrong - since there are characters, plot points, get up, sequences which are similar. You are free to change the choice of words - loosely based on/ inspired / adapted - whichever you want. But, I feel one among these has to be used considering the similarities existing. Kataariveera (talk) 07:30, 23 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Why is the article portraying it as a Telugu film? Saw the film here on YouTube and surprised that 90% of it was dubbed from Kannada. Only scenes involving Chiranjeevi-Meena, Tanikella Bharani and Brahmanandam have been reshot. Most of the film (Arjun-Soundarya-Ambareesh, other actors - most of the film) has been shot in Kannada only. DareshMohan (talk) 11:01, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Sri Manjunatha is a Kannada film which was partially reshot in Telugu. At that point of time, there was an unofficial ban in Kannada for dubbing movies from other languages. So, it has to be Kannada only. They couldn't have dubbed the movie in Kannada. The lead actors - Arjun & Soundarya - and other actors like Ambarish are also Kannada actors. However, it is potrayed as Telugu because the director is Telugu, Chiranjeevi in an important role , Arjun - Soundarya are also known in Telugu & partially reshot scenes. However, I argue it is a Kannada movie because it was majorly shot in Kannada. The story is about a devotee of Koti Lingeshwara in Karnataka. Technicians like music director Hamsalekha, cameraman Sundarnath Suvarna & editor R Janardhan are all from Kannada industry only. Kataariveera (talk) 15:22, 24 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes... Many movies pre 2006 didnt have extensive reviews in English and the Kannada ones from the newspapers are hard to find on internet Kataariveera (talk) 14:38, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you add Kannada dialogue of "If you gain courage because a thousand people are standing behind you, then you can only win a war. But if a thousand people get courage because you are standing in front of them, you can conquer the world" to Archana Jois#Career[7]. It comes at the end at 2:30:39 of KGF 1.
Among the ones without Pages - important ones are Mr.Bakra (his 100 or 101st movie) , Eshwar (played 9 roles), Jodi (multistarrer with Shivarajkumar), Ganesha, Jipuna Nanna Ganda, Shukradese , Jeetendra, Kiladi, Kubera, Indrana Gedda Narendra, Beda Krishna Ranginata, Huchana Maduveli Undone Jaana, Yaardo Duddu Yellamana Jathre, Dudde Doddappa, Kodagana Koli Nungitta. Thanks from the reply, sadly most of these films might not have enough sources (but hopefully will get sources in the future). Thanks for being nice and I hope I get to go to Karnataka one day. DareshMohan (talk) 07:04, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks man. While I could not find enough sources to make an article on Viggy.com, I'm going to make one for Chitraloka.com, so if you can find any Chitraloka sources for the films mentioned above, hit me up! DareshMohan (talk) 18:22, 30 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The source talks about the cine career of actress Anjana starting since 1990.
I.
It lists out the movies done It ends speculating the multiple reas on as to why she left the cinema field in 1997 even though she was at the top of her career. Full translation requird? by her. Kataariveera (talk) 23:53, 17 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Others who dont have - I can only think of KS Sridhar (who has appeared in movies like Sidlingu and Killing Veerappan), Manjunath Hegde, Krishna Hebbale - all of whom are still in the stage of recognition
Thanks. Indo-Asian News Service = nowrunning.com for RGV. I moved your review upwards since it was well written and differently worded than RGV's Rediff review. When I was writing the article I saw that there was an Indiaglitz review but sadly that had same exact content as nowrunning & later date. DareshMohan (talk) 06:48, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
RGV mostly wrote for multiple websites. He usually used different wordings but giving the same desired impact. So, you can use whichever is convenient Kataariveera (talk) 14:32, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The doctor role was played by Hari (full name Haridas probably). He played one of the 5 lead actors in the 2002 Kannada movie "Friends". He was actually an assistant cameraman who was made to act because of his fat body structure. He went on to play comedian's role in few movies. Not to be confused with another comedian Hariharan who was also a fat guy. Surprisingly, both were part of Puneeth Rajkumar's movie " Vamshi".
These are links to 2 Different actors. First one is a link to old actor Vijay and the second one is of Duniya Vijay who played minor roles before turning hero. If you are talking about Duniya Vijay, then no, he wasnt part of Veera Kannadiga (not sure about Ajju movie). However, in the second link of Duniya Vijay, 2 important movies where he played villains are missing. One is "Rakshasa" and Other one is "Rishi" - both starring Shivarajkumar. But I guess they are already included in his Wikipedia filmography. Kataariveera (talk) 13:42, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for the response. I was confused because Monalisa was mentioned in the first link and Duniya Vijay does appear in that film [14]. Can you add the character names of Duniya Vijay before Duniya? Even Henchman, etc. will suffice. DareshMohan (talk) 18:10, 27 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Guna mostly wont be available. By the way, changed his character name in 2 movies in his filmography. In Rakshasa, he is not Selva's henchman but his brother Palani. In Rishi, he played a drug peddler. So that would be more apt than saying henchman. Updated accordingly. Kataariveera (talk) 14:36, 30 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Because in the movie They are from KGF - Its a town bordering Karnataka, TN & Andhra. So all 3 languages - Tamil, Telugu and Kannada are common there. The reason why they selected Tamil name for Those rowdies is that there was real life Tamil Gangster in KGF called Thangam who was notorious. So they partly used his story and mixed fiction. Ruchita Prasad appears at 00:19:00 as a prospective bride who is alcoholic; Vanitha Vasu appears as Monalisa's mother at 00:27:40 (wearing pink saree); Yes, Shakeela appears in the beginning as college principal; Shankar Bhat might have a small role. Couldnt find him Kataariveera (talk) 12:50, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Not naathi... Its naadni... Actually to be pronounced "Naadini"... It generally means wife's sister/husband's sister.. Is it matching in the movie's context? Kataariveera (talk) 10:35, 29 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No issues at all.I already knew for 3 movies. However, checked for all 6 movies since all were available in YouTube. But yes, since I have watched those movies - it will be easier for me to detect the scenes where there is a probability that Character names is used by others. Kataariveera (talk) 03:55, 1 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No.. The scenes of murder are not shown. It is orally told that since they witness a murder, they are coerced to join a mental hospital from where they escape. The movie begins with them already having escaped from hospital (story before that is only narrated not shown. However, in the climax, you can notice that the lady who appears is the one whom they thought was murdered - implying there was no murder)
Found a plethora of reviews. plz add in free time. This link [19] shows multiple years with black lines. After clicking on the year, each blue circle is a link. Example: [20]DareshMohan (talk) 00:59, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Superb bro... How you found this?
A request - there are way too many reviews. Instead , if possible, let me know for which movie you required. I will search myself based on the year and add it Kataariveera (talk) 03:41, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Add to the movies with not many sources. Main purpose is to add to the list of Kannada films with PROD deletion tag to prevent deletion. I don't know how to make one yet but it will look like User:Kailash29792/PROD log.
Not available bro. I ll be expanding Ramesh Aravind acting career with Kannada movies. In case, I find anything regarding Muthu , I ll add. However that seems unlikely since nothing available Kataariveera (talk) 03:31, 8 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Heartfelt thanks for all your movie recs. I am keen to catch up on them. I have seen Upendra and Duniya and I realised that those films are not my type and weren't movies you recommended (not keen on violence movies; like comedy/romance movies). DareshMohan (talk) 07:37, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No issue... Before watching a movie , you can ask me about them. I will tell you how good its for your taste. By the way, which language you speak? Kataariveera (talk) 15:40, 19 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Can you help with the cast [23]? There is a character named Ramnath. Trying to find the role of G. V. Shivanand (who starred in Malgudi Days [24]). The film's credits say Pallavi in a guest appearance, not sure who she is. DareshMohan (talk) 08:38, 3 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Can you tell the timestamp where the character of Ramnath appears?
In the meanwhile, I will watch Kokila and let you know where Shivanand appears.
I am aware of GV Shivanand. A trivia for you - Shivanand trained Kamal Hassan for Kokila movie to get his Kannada pronunciation right.Shivanand was the son of great Kannada dramatist Gubbi Veeranna under whom Dr.Rajkumar was working in stage plays before coming to movies.
Hey, I have added a range for the BO collection since any figure we give will be challenged. Hence I think we should go with a range, and provide a cite for both figures and a note saying there is a discrepancy. Thanks. The Herald (Benison) (talk) 08:14, 7 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
"Nilavilakku" - is "Deepada Kamba"... also called " Kaaludeepa" but deepadakamba is used more...
"Aruval" is called "machchu" (machete) which is used to slice tender coconut but the other variant used in movies to potray rowdy element - its called "long" - yes no specific word. Colloquially called "Longu" because it is bit long like a sword with billhook.
Dont remember both Shrungarakavya and Meghamale - though I have seen them. So, wont be able to help on that.
np. yes even i hate creating pages. The reason: pages you create are associated with your account meaning that if you create an account for an actor that actor's manager etc. can find out about it since Google puts Wikipedia result in top. That's why I rather only create film articles. DareshMohan (talk)
Is Galate Aliyandru a remake of Andaz Apna Apna or Ullathai Allitha (songs like Laila Laila make it look like the Tamil song). Is Dhai Akshar Prem Ke a remake of A Walk in the Clouds or Pooveli? DareshMohan (talk) 20:24, 7 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Galate Aliyandru is a scene by scene remake of Ullathai Allitha. Ullatha Allitha has copied scenes from Andaaz Apna Apna.
Dhai Akshar Prem Ke (DAPK) is not remake of Pooveli. Both are inspired by A Walk In The Clouds which was a remake of Italian movie Four Steps Into Clouds and that Italian movie was adapted into Kannada as "Mungaarina Minchu". Kataariveera (talk) 14:11, 9 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I think Ramesh Aravind credited with full name only in recent films and not older 2000s films. This source says that he was credited as Ramesh Aravind in Tamil and Ramesh in Kannada. This reminds me of Arjun Sarja because I don't remember him being credited with full name in any Tamil film. DareshMohan (talk) 05:43, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
He was always credited "Ramesh" in Kannada. The first time I saw "Ramesh Aravind" in title card was for his debut directorial "Rama Shama Bhama" co-starring Kamal Haasan (remake of Sathi Leelavathi). There also, he credited "Ramesh" when his name appeared for acting but credited himself as "Ramesh Aravind" for direction credits. This was done to avoid confusion as Ramesh was a common name among actors in Kannada industry (like Mandya Ramesh, Ramesh Bhat, Jadugar Ramesh) and it was his debut in direction leading to confusion which Ramesh was debuting as director. So to distinguish , he started using "Ramesh Aravind" - Though I am not sure when it became started to be used permanently. As far as Arjun is considered, I think he was never ever known as Arjun Sarja in Tamil whereas in Kannada it was always Arjun Sarja. Kataariveera (talk) 15:22, 5 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Like you said, my search for reviews ended in vain. Almost anytime I enter a date on Sunday (tried for January & February 2004) [31], it is dead. I want to go through every Sunday but I realise that almost all of them are dead. DareshMohan (talk) 01:10, 20 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your interest, the article is now complete. I showed you the name of the article I was working on and didn't expect you to be of so much help 🙏. DareshMohan (talk) 02:30, 23 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
It is actually used to ask someone when u meet them or in letter akin to "Nalla Irkingla". So how do u translate that - "Are You Alright"? But That is not sounding that good.Think of any alternate phrase. Kataariveera (talk) 16:45, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
There are no written articles apart From videos by reviewers. I suggest you to retain "Themes & Influence" section and if YT videos are considered not reliable , just mark them ((Better Citation needed)). I am unable to restore. It is showing some old page before edit or something like that. Kataariveera (talk) 04:26, 9 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
All 4 - Chappale, Kanakambari, Ellara Mane Dosenu and Mahalakshmi - will be taken up after May 22. In the meanwhile, you can add other drafts also Kataariveera (talk) 03:30, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, cool just saying that Chappale is dropped because lack of second review and the fact that Viggy is unreliable so any non-review stuff is not reliable. Also Kanakambari already is an article. DareshMohan (talk) 04:18, 10 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Names. Does "Nodi Shiva" mean that his name is Shiva? [33] If not, please rectify it. They say Guru a lot in the film (or in Kannada language in general) and it doesn't indicate a name. DareshMohan (talk) 05:55, 10 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
True.. "Guru" is an equivalent to calling "Sir"/" Bro". "Guru" is used to call a not so familiar person (for friends, the word used is "Maga" - can be equated to calling "Machcha" for friends. "Machcha" has turned into "Machchi" in 2000s Kannada movies). Using "Shiva" is similar to using Guru to call someone. Other equivalents which we use for similar References will be "Dhani" or "Devru". Individually, Shiva or Guru can be names of persons but coloquially used more in Bangalore to refer someone.

Hi.. when an article written by a person is considered as reliable, why will same person coming on video will be considered irreliable? Please clarify. Its just a change of medium.I agree it was not correctly formatted. Usually, even for written articles, other contributors format the links which I add. Henceforth, will try to do correct formatting. Kataariveera (talk) 03:23, 27 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Great job brother - only issue is "Soundtrack" section of both the pages needs to be formatted in standard format. Please let me know you want to do that or should I do?
In case of "Karnataka Suputra", please check by what name was Rituparna Sengupta credited in title card. I guess full name was not there. That info can be added. Also, Raj has sung background song for Vishnu movie - a rare instance. Maybe only 4 movies we can find this. That info also can be added in " Soundtrack" section itself. Kataariveera (talk) 05:42, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
i can speak and understand kannada to an extent but cannot write or read it. my mother tongue is tamil. it would be nice if u check the credits. Srivin (talk) 14:16, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Hi brother, information about him having worked in serials was known though dont remember his character names or what character (since I never used to Watch serials). Those not available on YouTube also. Did not know about him having dubbed for cartoons. Thats news for me! So I will be able to add only if I get information on the same. Kataariveera (talk) 05:47, 2 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I tried creating articles for 12AM Madhyarathri and Draft:Ol Muniswamy although both seem low-key. Popular films such as Hello Yama lack articles. Could only find mentions here [35] (as Hello Yama) and [36] (review of Telugu remake). If you could look through his films and say which popular films lack articles, it would be helpful.
