Uritsky District (Russian: Урицкий райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Oryol Oblast, Russia. It is located in the west of the oblast. The area of the district is 838.4 square kilometers (323.7 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (an urban-type settlement) of Naryshkino.[1] Population: 18,666 (2010 Census);[3] 20,224 (2002 Census);[8] 19,082 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Naryshkino accounts for 51.3% of the district's total population.[3]
