Okay come on guys its kind of obvious that this page should be deleted. There are no source or references, the person has a basically unknown filmography with films that don't have pages of there own and the films that do have pages are virtually unknown. If every short film maker had a page there would be millions of pages on the subject. I thought I would check with you guys before I put this up for delete. What do you reckon? I strongly disagree. This is an article about someone who made their mark on the world before the age of the internet blossomed, so they are not going to have a ton of information out there about them. But if you google "I Was a Teenage Serial Killer" and "Sarah Jacobson" you get 120 results and if you google "Mary Jane's Not a Virgin Anymore" and "Sarah Jacobson" you get 270 results. Are you telling me that every article on wikipedia that garners less activity than that should get deleted? Then half of wikipedia needs to get deleted. And just because you never heard of the film doesn't make it "virtually unknown". This page needs some editing, but it does not deserve deletion--David Straub07:52, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I disagree as well. We are not talking about a Hollywood director who has a budget that includes maintainence of websites for each film made. We're talking about an extremely independent low budget filmmaker working outside "the industry", someone along the lines of Vivienne Dick, or Nick Zedd, or Ron Rice. someone whose work is regularly shown and discussed at universities, someone who has been important in women's communities particularly but also in the independent film scene, where her work won accolades. Make sure to leave some comments at the proposed deletion page too at click here - And if you have any friends make sure they leave comments too. Other wise it will probably get deleted. Also, add some more sources and citations. If you have several that will lessen the likelyhood of deletion.--David Straub11:05, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I strongly disagree as well. We don't have many female notable US film directors and Sarah was beginning to make her mark in the extremely competitive independent film industry. Keep Sarah in the Wiki....JK
