Komarichsky District (Russian: Кома́ричский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[7] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the southeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,020 square kilometers (390 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Komarichi.[1] Population: 15,859 (2021 Census);[9] 18,064 (2010 Russian census);[3] 20,065 (2002 Census);[10] 21,649 (1989 Soviet census).[11] The population of Komarichi accounts for 46.2% of the district's total population.[9]
