Navlinsky District (Russian: На́влинский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[6] district (raion), one of the twenty-seven in Bryansk Oblast, Russia. It is located in the east of the oblast. The area of the district is 2,012 square kilometers (777 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the urban locality (a work settlement) of Navlya.[1] Population:26,906 (2021 Census);[8] 28,341 (2010 Russian census);[3] 29,783 (2002 Census);[9] 32,189 (1989 Soviet census).[10] The population of Navlya accounts for 57.7% of the district's total population.[8]
