2023 Prime Volleyball League

This article has no references, and makes no claims of the significant coverage that would satisfy general notability or sports notability. A version of this article was already in article space, but was moved to draft space by User:MPGuy2824. This version in article space should be deleted, unless it can be expanded to report significant coverage with references to reliable sources within seven days. I feel that this might be a poor deletion. Having reviewed the article, I think it may qualify for more time before a deletion, per Wikipedia:Notability (sports) FAQ #4. I was able to find some notable coverage that occurred between article creation 3 days ago and present, specifically put out by the International Olympic Committee's news arm, and have added it to the article accordingly. I agree that down the road this might be a candidate for deletion, I am just unsure if seven days may be enough given the ongoing/new nature of the league. Keep (because I forgot to specify this explicitly before as it was my first AfD discussion contribution) Kwkintegrator (talk) 03:56, 4 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It's on going event, I think people are adding more context to it. I disagree with deletion. Can move to draft first. Ojvolleyball (talk) 06:45, 28 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - The Olympics' website is covering it and somehow it even got a mention out of ESPN, which has never presented any information about VB.KatoKungLee (talk) 22:09, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: The statement "ESPN, which has never presented any information about VB" is completely false, But its does show that this editor is just making statements, without any sources or validity based in guidelines.
