Gotanda has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: QD A4 declined, but non-notable product. "Is about people, groups, companies, products, services or websites that do not claim to be notable. This includes any article about a real person, group of people, band, club, company, product, service or web content that does not say why the subject is important." Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.
- Delete Fails WP:GNG by the looks of it, although I agree that it was appropriate to decline A4 here. A postgraduate degree is not a product and it is important that quick deletion criteria is strictly followed - any unclear cases should go to RfD. --Ferien (talk) 19:07, 20 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Comment Universities offer products, courses which people pay for, at the end of buying and using enough of those products the consumer requests, and often pays separately for, a degree. They are products. We have enough traffic on RfD. Can't these non-controversial deletes go to QD? --Gotanda (talk) 06:21, 23 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Actually, I think it is a product. People pay money, go on the course, pass the exam, apply for jobs with their degree. It is not general education. Such courses would not be offered if there were no market for the product. Not notable. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:10, 28 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
