  I never claimed its an English term. But a term in Romani language, especially the Romanichal dialect in England. Here some other sources about the term:

• It's not an argument here to say "It's been kept somewhere else". We're a different wiki, and our remit is to be simple. We were specifically set up not to be a copy of En wiki, but to use a simpler version of the language, But personally, I do know the word "didicoy".   An article should use the most well known English language term where possible. While it is the Simple English wiki, English is the underlying basis for the language. SE varies in a simplified structure and vocabulary to make it easier for readers of varying understanding of the English language to understand what is being said. English terminology must still be followed, just in a form that is easier to understand. By this, the English term is the correct term to use with the most commonly recognized or least ambiguous term English term being preferred. •  Delete Of the entire article, only the first two sentences are on topic. Past that, everything should be wiped. Of the first two, that second one makes my eyes bleed. It is hard to know what it is trying to say although the subject is mentioned so it is at least marginally on topic even if it is useless. Since it can not be understood, it cannot be used to defend the article. That leaves just the first sentence to work with. One sentence which is a poorly written dicdef. Every sourse provided (in the article and in this RfD are dictionary references. There are no sources to the history or common usage of the word, just what it means. SE Wikipedia is not a dictionary.   You did not know that you should not post articles using Romani on the Simple English wiki and didn't know which language should be used? Please tell me I misread that and explain it better as what you wrote is not in any reasonable form of English. You really should be at least marginally capable of expressing thoughts in a language before trying to edit in that language. A beginner's level of understanding the rules would also be helpful. •  Merge Suggest adding the content, with its citations, to the page Roma people, section Culture. The point could be made whether marriage to a person with partial Roma heritage is considered "marrying out" (exogamy) and un/desirable, whether for Roma men or women. -- Deborahjay (talk) 16:21, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
•  Comment: I expanded it a bit using the reference supplied. Not so oddly, the dictionary had more encyclopedic information than the article. THere may be enough to it now to support being merged into the Roma people article. As such, I struck my  Delete in support for the merge option.
