The outcome of this request for deletion was to Delete. I see consensus to delete. The redirect option can be re-explored if we ever have a suitable page with a relevant list of characters.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 01:30, 24 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]

SHB2000 has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: This article was started by someone who was evading their global lock + their local block too. SHB2000 (talk) 23:03, 16 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Please discuss this request below, but keep in mind that you shouldn't vote on everything and that there may be options other than "keep" or "delete", such as merging.
- CU blocked and now globally locked. SHB2000 (talk) 01:48, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep The fact that an article is created by a banned, even CU blocked and globally locked editor, is completely irrelevant to whether it should be deleted. Its notability and perhaps whether it is written simply is all that matters. It exists happily in 4 major wikis and comfortably meets GNG. That's all we should be concerned about. Blissyu2 (talk) 11:23, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- We don't delete pages based on the status of the creator here at least. So the nomination rationale can be changed @SHB2000? But then it exist in 4 languages doesn't mean it can fit here, nor meets GNG. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:18, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- By not deleting these pages, it's kind of like rolling the welcome mat for those who are banned to continue block evading. By deleting this, we lose little, but sends a signal to the LTA that they're not welcome to [b]lock evade. SHB2000 (talk) 12:24, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- @SHB2000 I agree too but we never successfully got consensus on such a clause, and side note, the strike is removed via this edit Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:27, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Anyway, I still get the same sentiments as Aranya. But interesting to see this wiki not delete articles because it was created by banned users in violation of their ban SHB2000 (talk) 12:29, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Actually not here only, zhwp doesn't too @SHB2000. Generally here it's evaluated based on the merits of the article. I tried to use that reason for my early RFDs, but not all buy it, so I changed to notablity wise etc. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:39, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- The English Wikivoyage is still quite divided on this issue as well. There's a policy on "no deleting real places", but then there's a regular LTA who creates articles for random towns in the middle of Queensland (state of Australia). I often try and improve it at times to the point where most of the article was written by me, but when I can't improve it, I either speedy it (examples are en:voy:Peregian), or before I became a sysop there, those LTA's articles were nominated for deletion, some said keep since it's a real place, and others inc. myself preferred delete. They did eventually get deleted though but it's still an issue never resolved to this day. SHB2000 (talk) 12:46, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Doesn't meet notability guidelines here.-BRP ever 12:52, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- (change conflict) Anyway my take is, we can follow en practice to redirect to a page like en:List_of_Henry_Danger_characters#Jasper_Dunlop. Individually lacks notability as it doesn't seems to be covered by adequate sources, but surely we can redirect if the page exists. Camouflaged Mirage (talk) 12:54, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete Clear delete, not because the article was created by a banned user, but because the actor is non-notable. SkeletalDome$ (talk) 18:44, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
