- Delete. We've had all this silly nonsense before. They have no notability, and are not encyclopedic. There are millions of species of insects which live in the Indian subcontinent, and there is no reason to pick any out as especially characteristic of Bangladesh. Nor would any sane government do so. Macdonald-ross (talk) 18:15, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete but only because I can't seem to prove this is true. If this, and the below related RfDs could be sourced as true, I think I'd be a keep. However I cannot find anything. ENWP lists them, but without sources. If it could be sourced, I'd be a keep. It is just a redirect after all.--Gordonrox24 | Talk 23:26, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete I would have felt okay with a quick delete of this one. Darkfrog24 (talk) 00:48, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- What about all these other redirects, Are these redirects real? -50.30.176.24 (talk) 23:57, 2 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
- No. they're all nonsense, with no supporting evidence. We can delete them all after this is decided. Macdonald-ross (talk) 09:40, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: The closest we get to this is that environmental organizations in Austria, Switzerland, and Germany pick an "Animal of the Year" (see de:Tier des Jahres. For 2021: Eurasian otter for Germany, a shrimp-like crustacean living in rivers and lakes, in Switzerland (Gammarus fossarum), and the Edible dormouse for Austria. Note however, that this is at level animal, we don't get to the level butterfly, or predator...--Eptalon (talk) 09:25, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
