আফতাবুজ্জামান has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Non notable person for a stand-alone article. He was killed because he/his publishing company published books of Avijit Roy, but it doesn't make him notable. I see no indication of his notability as a publisher. Delete or merge with Attacks by Islamic extremists in Bangladesh (like enwiki) আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 14:38, 25 March 2019 (UTC)

- Keep Covered by multiple international sources including BBC, the Guardian, Committee for the Protection of Journalists, CNN, there are also new book sources. I will try to add some further sources. Another publisher of Avijit Roy, Ahmed Rahim Tutul was also killed but in a cursory inspection of sources I am not seeing as much international coverage or connection to international terrorism. —Neotarf (talk) 00:15, 2 April 2019 (UTC) I have added a few more sources, and connected it to the articles on en.wiki and bn.wiki, and added a stub template. Comment: If this article is kept, then it should be renamed to Murder of Faisal Abedin Deepan or something similar. This person was not notable prior to his murder. All of the sources I find about him are about his murder. His murder can be considered a notable event (since it got several national & international coverage), but that does not make him notable. --আফতাবুজ্জামান (talk) 21:48, 2 April 2019 (UTC)
