Honshu is an island of Japan (the largest one). As per the precedent established by Wikipedia:Requests for deletion/Requests/2014/Category:People from Long Island, we do not categorize people by physical geography (such as islands), but by political geography (such as cities, prefectures, etc.). Honshu contains 34 prefectures, divided among five regions; people can be categorized by any of those. Auntof6 (talk) 09:09, 12 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
