The outcome of this request for deletion was to  Delete. Existing articles to be recategorised into Bisexual people, American bisexual people, and British bisexual people (English bisexual people will be taken out of the existing categories for English men and women, and placed into the category for British bisexual people). Whether to categorise bisexual people by nationality is something to be decided in a later RfD (which will also cut down on the confusion here too). Auntof6 has nominated this page for deletion for the reason: Nominating all categories under Bisexual people that mention gender, because it is not our practice to split categories by gender without good reason and I see no reason here.

• Keep. Many gender-based categories, including this one, exist on English Wikipedia. Where is the guideline that says we should never have such categories here? Society does not view male and female bisexuality in the same way, which is a reason to differentiate. For example, a male version of I Kissed a Girl by a little-known singer could not sell millions of copies and make them one of the most famous people in the world. I was going to say the same thing as Mac. I understand that society may view bisexual men differently from bisexual women. • Delete. This is overcategorisation, in my opinion. Although, I still don't see why we should we split by nationality either. Surely the subcategories in Category:LGBT people by nationality will suffice for that? If we're citing what "enwiki" does, then even they have decided so. Why, then, should we be different going even further than they do (especially given our small number of articles and that many seem to want to have a smaller category tree than enwiki)? • Comment: One comment here says we shouldn't categorise in the way same as en; another comment says we shouldn't categorise differently to en. They are opposite arguments and therefore cannot both be correct. Homosexuals are divided by gender into Category:Gay men and Category:Lesbians, along with their subcategories.
