Welcome to Wikipedia, Infogapp1! I'm Hiàn and an active editor here. Thank you for your changes. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions check out Wikipedia:Questions, or send me a message on my talk page. I like to help new people, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like Wikipedia and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Hiàn (talk) 15:04, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
:@Hiàn:Thank you for the warm welcome - and the cookies! I only got a chance to thank you now as I've only figured out how it's done today, hat tip and thanks to ExamKnow. --Infogapp1 (talk) 10:11, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
Hey welcome to Wikipedia! Oh and by the way, nice signature :) -Examknowtalk 21:40, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
I'm new to this reply thing, and I don't even know if you'll see this once I do. I hope you don't mind, but as I learn the ropes of the formatting, I copied it from yours (as you can probably easily spot). I will, however, refrain from using it if you do mind :D --Infogapp1 (talk) 21:47, 30 April 2020 (UTC)

. If you have any other questions, please let me know :). -Examknowtalk 22:29, 30 April 2020 (UTC)Hi Infogapp1, thanks for the email, and welcome to the Simple English Wikipedia too. As you noticed, we do get a bit of silly vandalism. Generally it stops if we just keep reverting it, they tend to get bored long before we do! We do not lock down pages very often, but if you think one page is being heavily vandalised you can report it on the Administrator's Noticeboard. You can also report a persistent vandal on the Vandalism in progress page. We are only a small team, so sometimes it might seem we take too long, but we get there eventually. As a new editor I can understand how frustrating it is to see the vandalism taking place while you feel powerless to do anything about it. We do have a number of editors and administrators who will devote their time to fixing these problems and dealing with the vandals. As a new editor I suggest you ignore the vandals, and spend some time working to improve the quality of our existing articles, and adding new ones where they are needed. If you have any questions, you can write them below (I will see it), you can ask them on Wikipedia:Simple talk (everyone will see it), or you can send me an email. Best wishes, Peterdownunder (talk) 22:23, 30 April 2020 (UTC).
Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make helpful changes to Wikipedia. However, some of your changes, like those to "Vladimir Putin", did not seem to be helpful and have been reverted or removed. If you want to try out changing Wikipedia to learn more about how it works, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Auntof6 (talk) 22:32, 30 April 2020 (UTC)
Hi Infogapp1, please be careful with your edits. A number of your edits have not been helpful, and this is creating problems as other editors will have to go and check every one to see if they are correct. For example, Nigersaurus, you changed the name of the dinosaur because you thought it was racist. That is its name. There had been racist vandalism on the page, but that had already been removed. On Rose Hill, Iowa you placed the page elements in the wrong order. Page order is important, so please read our Manual of Style to learn about these things.

Just do it by adding three soft breaks with the enter key - three blank lines - Peterdownunder (talk) 22:37, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
((no footnotes))
, which says that there are references, but they are not included in the actual article, probably just in a list at the bottom. If there are no references at all, use ((source))
intead, as this one says, there are no sources or references at all.Peterdownunder (talk) 23:18, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
((fact))
. You can use this one in an article where there are references, but some important statement or claim does not have a reference. You add it where the individual reference should be placed. Sometimes it is even better to find a reference to fix it, and I have seen you have done that a couple of times already. Peterdownunder (talk) 23:33, 1 May 2020 (UTC)
I noticed that you have been adding an orange/white link to your talk page before the actual signature (--~~~~). That portion appears to be '''bolded'''
, but you did not manage to "close" the formatting properly. Please ensure that you surround bold text with 3 quote marks, otherwise the bold text will spill over to the rest of the page. You may also want to see en:WP:CUSTOMSIG for instructions on how to customise your signature. Chenzw Talk 14:04, 12 May 2020 (UTC)
