Austin Sopp (born August 26, 1994) is an American professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for All Elite Wrestling (AEW) and competes under the ring name Austin Gunn and is one third of the current Unified World Trios Champions.
He wrestles in a tag team called The Gunns with his real-life younger brother Colten. His father is professional wrestler Billy Gunn, who also wrestles in All Elite Wrestling.
During his time in AEW, Gunn has been a one-time AEW World Tag Team Champion and Unified World Trios Champion.
On January 9, 2020, it was announced that Gunn had signed a contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).[1]
On the January 14 episode of Dark, Gunn made his AEW in-ring debut. He teamed with his father Billy Gunn as The Gunn Club. They defeated Peter Avalon and Shawn Spears but Gunn tore his PCL in the match.[2]
On the November 4 of Dynamite, Gunn made his return to in-ring action from injury. He teamed with his father and Cody Rhodes to defeat The Dark Order (10, John Silver, and Colt Cabana).[3] On November 17 episode of Dark, The Gunn Club would be joined by Austin's brother Colten. They would defeat BSHP King, Joey O’Riley, and Sean Maluta.[4] On the February 11, 2022 episode of Rampage, Austin and Colten would face Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships but lost.[5]
On February 8, 2023 episode of Dynamite, The Gunn's would defeat The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships. This was Austin's first championship in AEW.[6] They would lose the titles to FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) on the April 5 episode of Dynamite in a Title vs. Career match.[7]
