Yukhnovsky District (Russian: Юхновский райо́н) is an administrative[1] and municipal[5] district (raion), one of the twenty-four in Kaluga Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,332.5 square kilometers (514.5 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the town of Yukhnov.[2] Population: 12,912 (2021 Census);[7] 12,696 (2010 Census);[3] 14,447 (2002 Census);[8] 13,749 (1989 Census).[9] The population of Yukhnov accounts for 51.2% of the district's total population.[7]
