• Meta Comment--social dynamics: Keeping this page on Wikipedia, regardless of the merits, is almost certainly a lost cause. It is, however a fascinating study of evolved social dynamics. For example:

Nomad2u001 is a troll and has refused any legitimate discussion. The troll was the first to break the three revert rule because the troll obviously wants its own opinion and no balance. I'll stop when the troll stops deleting my SOURCED information. The troll's already been barred from editing previously because of its shenanigans.News4a2 (talk) 12:24, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

I strongly suggest you remove that comment. Wikipedia does not allow personal attacks. // roux 17:43, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

It's not a personal attack. I'm describing the actions of a troll who keeps deleting valid, sourced information I've placed in an article and who has refused to explain why or discuss the situation. I don't consider continuous, repetitious deletions of my contributions professional by any means, just troll-like behavior.News4a2 (talk) 21:01, 22 December 2008 (UTC)

Guess what? Nomad2u001 was a troll, a sockpuppet with a lot of aliases who's now been indefinitely banned. diff.News4a2 (talk) 01:02, 23 December 2008 (UTC)

I don't know for sure what is going on here, and it probably will not matter.

In any case, an online group should take some care with the local social dynamics. I can recognize the problem, but don't have good ideas on how to fix it. Keith Henson (talk) 17:54, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

What do User:News4a2 and User:Nomad2u001 have to do with the deletion discussion? Tom Harrison Talk 19:03, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I was wondering about that. The above didn't really make much sense, or relate to the discussion, so I moved it to this talk page. – Toon(talk) 19:05, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

From Toon05's talk page:

The Order of Cosmic Engineers

Since I'm currently busy, could you please start the proper deletion debate process for The Order of Cosmic Engineers article? --Loremaster (talk) 19:52, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

No worries. The nomination is located at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/The Order of Cosmic Engineers. Head over and put forth your argument when you have time. It'll be listed for five days, at which point an administrator will determine if there is a consensus to delete. Best, – Toon(talk) 20:09, 7 January 2009 (UTC)
Thanks. --Loremaster (talk) 20:16, 7 January 2009 (UTC)

(more added today)

As you can see from the history file, loremaster spent from 18:16 to 19:49, more than an hour and a half, making changes to the article. From the time stamp of his request till Toon05 had the AfD up took 17 minutes. Loremaster responded 7 minutes later. Does this suggest that he had reasons to get someone else involved other than "currently busy"? It may be worth paging through the versions to see what he was doing.

I very much doubt that the article will survived AfD. Not entirely sure is should--yet. But the behavior we see here is sure strange.

As I explained, I asked Toon05 to trigger the Article for deletion debate process because I wanted to make sure it was done well since I hadn't done it in a long time. No offense but these "conspiracy theories" are unbecoming of someone of your intelligence. Page as much as you want cause the only thing you will find is evidence of me improving the OCE article in case it survived AfD(!) as well as other articles, some related to transhumanism and some not... --Loremaster (talk) 21:35, 9 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
