UK Statute stub

Nearly oversized and we have many statutes that were actually enacted by the parliaments of England or GB in the category. I propose the following:

I'm not familiar with the use of Great Britain v. United Kingdom - is there a difference, and would it apply here? Her Pegship (?) 23:22, 18 January 2021 (UTC)
@Pegship: There is a difference, and politically, it's a big one. It certainly does apply here - in brief, the term "Great Britain" excludes any part of the island of Ireland. The formal name of the present sovereign state is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, which has existed since 1922 but didn't adopt that name until 1927. It includes six counties on the island of Ireland. Prior to that we had:
Laws passed by the Parliament of England were inherited by Great Britain in 1707; similarly, laws passed by the Parliament of Great Britain were inherited by the United Kingdom in 1801. So if we're going to split out this stub cat, it's logical to do so by the parliament that passed the law concerned. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 00:14, 19 January 2021 (UTC)

PNG geo stubs

Over 750 articles, Papua New Guinea is split into 4 regions split into 22 Provinces, most articles appear to give the Province only or the Province and region suggesting the province is easier to sort too. I suggest we split by province and upmerge to regional categories:
