This would be a project focusing on creation, expansion, cleanup, etc. of the numerous dam articles. Because of the global influence of dams, their importance, uses, types, and sheer number, I was surprised to not find a WikiProject Dams banner on any of their talk pages. Also, each dam article varys a lot in structure and style. There is a lot of work that needs to be done in this part of Wikipedia.

It may also involve the creation of Portal:Dams, though I'm not sure how a portal is set up. Shannon1^{talk contribs} 20:10, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
