Evidence

Article Optimal classification was nominated at AFD here. User:Julie Dancer, the main contributor to the article, immediatley sprang up to support the article. User:Ἀριστοτέλης made one minor edit to the article (diff). User:Adaptron and User:Julie Dancer have been contributing to the AfD discussion in a VERY similar style: both have a similar misunderstanding of WP:OR. Most telling is when User: Adaptron stated "Actually I hope you do not change your mind since I have done enough work on the article." [1] However, User:Adaptron has never edited Optimal classification (history), only User:Julie Dancer and User:Ἀριστοτέλης have.

User:71.100.167.93 stated here that the article had been moved to the [Academic Publishing Wiki http://academia.wikia.com/wiki/Optimal_Classification], then a minute later deleted the comment and 9 minutes after that User:Julie Dancer stated that she had moved the article to the Academic Publishing Wiki.

In several diffs, User:Julie Dancer justifies using sock accounts: [2], [3], [4] and admits to it here.

Finally, the article at Academic Publishing Wiki was created by Pce3@ij.net, (http://academia.wikia.com/index.php?title=Optimal_Classification&action=history). The account User:Pce3@ij.net has been indef blocked at Wikipedia for contributing original research articles (see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rapid sort). Since then, Pce3 republished his ideas outside of Wikipedia, on Wikia here, which can be used to verify that the three current accounts are linked to, and socks for a blocked user.

Conclusions

Regardless of Julie's defence of her use of sock at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Optimal classification, such use is totally innapropriate, and so I have blocked User:Adaptron indefinitely. User:Ἀριστοτέλης has not been used abusively that I can see, so I am going to assume good faith that this is a legitimate alternate account. Should there be any abusive sockpuppetry there, I will not hesitate to block this account also. The IPs are also obviously the same user, but there is little that can be done - both are Verizon DSL IPs so a block would be pointless. The Julie Dancer account is now on a final warning, and will be blocked if there is any further abuse. Kevin (talk) 00:20, 29 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
