Suspected sockpuppets

This involves the article Madison McKinley. DangerousPanda blocked the master for edit-warring. I probed more deeply based on a report at WP:AN3 and when I suspected sockpuppetry, I upped the master's block to one month. When more socks were created and blocked (by me), I changed the block of the master to indefinite.

One of the emblematic traits of the accounts was removing maintenance templates. See master; Stevejohnsonhere; Usercatch. The only exception is Webmastermeyou who didn't touch the article but made disruptive edits aimed at Jersey92, the editor who added the templates in the first instance. See removal of delete vote at AfD and reversion of Jersey's edit in an unrelated article.

Then two editors showed up, Klokus, who is a relatively new account (created on June 11, 2014), and Cristine nickol (a not new account created on July 31, 2013). Indeed, if there is a finding that Cristine is a sock, she would be the master as the account of the master I identified out there and here was created on January 9, 2014. The master can be changed depending on the outcome of the SPI.

Cristine's second set of edits to the article removed the tags but also altered the article. Her first set of edits also altered the article. Thus, one could argue that she removed the templates after fixing the problem. I did not find her edits to be an improvement, but that would require a much deeper analysis than I think this forum should have to handle.

Klokus's only set of edits removed the templates again and altered the article.

I was suspicious of both editors but didn't feel comfortable blocking them unilaterally. There are a few other rather odd tidbits. User:Americanpatriot1/Veronica Grey is an article in another editor's user space. The editor hasn't edited since March 2014. He created an article about Veronica Gray through the WP:AFC process, which, you can see, was deleted as abandoned in 2012. He created the user space version in 2011. On March 14, 2014, Cristine added an image to the "article". That image was File:Surf Lady Veronica Grey and Kelly Slater star in Inspire Magazine's "Decade Issue".jpg deleted. On June 30, 2014, Klokus uploaded and added a poster to the article. The whole thing about the documentary itself is odd, but it's passing strange that both editors would be interested in this user space article. Interestingly, the poster says that Leonardo DiCaprio is in the cast of the documentary. Yet, neither DiCarpio's article nor his entry at IMDb mentions it. Hi there, I've just been alerted my username has been mentioned in this case. I was hired off of Fiverr a few days ago to make edits to User:Americanpatriot1/Veronica Grey ‎and also the Madison McKinley Wikipedia page from the same user using two different accounts(I realised this once I had a look at the previous edits to both pages after I had edited them). I take it they are a paid editor who is outsourcing. I didn't mean to break any rules if this is the case. I'm very sorry, I normally only take on jobs from people who ask for constructive edits which I see as non promotional. Klokus (talk) 13:04, 3 July 2014 (UTC) Also if I have broken any rules, please let me know. I normally only write the html for clients pages who have their own content but don't know how to format a Wikipedia page. Very rarely do I make the edits myself but in this case the client was very instructive that they couldn't, I should of taken that as a warning sign. Klokus (talk) 13:13, 3 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
