[edit]- Suspected sockpuppets
- Evidence submitted by Ckatz
- Trotline has the most edits, tending to focus on net-related issues; in the past, that account has repeatedly added external links that track back to the same IP (69.55.231.150), including false descriptions claiming to be official links (i.e. "nortons.com instead of "norton.com)
- The other registered accounts have little or no contributions, other than to argue the case for changing the page Domaining (and related pages) into articles (instead of redirects).
- Trotline and 00wikican both edited at or around the same time on July 16th and 17th
- The four registered accounts have all been arguing the same point, in a similar fashion.

- Comments by accused parties See Defending yourself against claims.
- Comments by other users
- Clerk, patrolling admin and checkuser comments
- Looking through the edits of the accounts, it looks like they have a similar point of view but different conversational styles; several blog posts and news-type articles have been linked on the Cybersquatting talkpage which could point to these folks being different people brought here by publicity. Does that square with your read of the situation? Nathan T 22:23, 4 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Conclusions
Very similar summary styles here, and given the edits, I'm quite sure these users are related. It is also possible that there are two users involved, given the geolocation of the IPs (Vancouver, Canada; and Maryland, US). This cannot be ruled out, but I'm calling WP:DUCK into play here.
