This edit by TrainEnthusiast is effectively the same as edit 1, edit 2, and edit 3 by The Train Master. These sorts of edits led to the latter account being blocked. And of course... the names are very similar. bdesham ★ 17:40, 29 December 2017 (UTC)

Obvious naming convention plus mass creation of PA related malls etc...and a total lack of communication wtih concerned editors. Also see this which shows they clearly still have access but aside from this they are showing the same disruptive editing as when they got blocked several times CHRISSYMAD ❯❯❯¯\_(ツ)_/¯ 23:00, 15 April 2018 (UTC)
@Vanjagenije: This user has only signed in again this week because they are evading this active block on their IP. Scr★pIronIV 20:21, 18 April 2018 (UTC) Accused parties may also comment/discuss in this section below. See Defending yourself against claims.
Pretty much the same as the others, edits mall articles in the northeast. The give away is the user page [1] which says "I am a wikapedia user dedictaed to working on and improving on retail and mall related articles since 2016." This account didn't exist until this year, so its obvious it has to be a sock. Guess what account started editing in 2016. Rusf10 (talk) 05:07, 4 June 2018 (UTC)

Unrelated. The two reports in the archive are misleading, so I will take this opportunity to correct the record. In the first, the clerk asked that the master be "soft blocked". Instead, the admin hard-blocked the user indefinitely. In the second report, the clerk found that the listed puppet, TrainEnthusiast (talk · contribs · count), had not socked and closed the case. Several hours later, an admin blocked the user for 31 hours for disruption. A few days later, the user was blocked for 60 hours for disruption. A few days later, the user was blocked for a month for disruption. The following day the block was changed to indefinite for socking. Until now, no checks on any of the accounts has been run.--Bbb23 (talk) 14:45, 4 June 2018 (UTC)
Elevatorsarefun is making disruptive edits identical or very similar to TrainEnthusiast's contributions. These two editors focus on malls in the United States, making infobox adjustments not specified by the template documentation. The editors violate WP:3RR and don't participate in discussion when the community rejects their edits.
Walt Whitman Shops: [2] vs. [3]; [4] vs. [5]
Roosevelt Field (shopping mall): [6] vs. [7]
Additionally, there's an IP editor making the same/similar edits in Walt Whitman Shops. ScrapIronIV pointed it out in a previous SPI entry for this user: [8]

WP:DUCK. Repeatedly adding the same, unsupported content from another blocked sockpuppet: [9] vs [10]. Same focus on a narrow band of subjects: train stations and malls in the US Northeast. → GS → ☎ → 21:27, 27 May 2019 (UTC)

No edits on enwiki yet, but listing here for reference because I've blocked them on Commons as an obvious sock of TrainEnthusiast. See for example their identical edits on commons:File:Hatfield Station Hatfield, Montco, Pennsylvania.jpg. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 05:11, 22 June 2019 (UTC)

Quacks like a duck. Same interest in Pennsylvania railroad stations, same "Added missing categories" edit summary as recent socks. Already blocked on Commons. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 07:37, 28 June 2019 (UTC)

Ducky yet again (PA train stations and so on) and similar username to a past sock. Might be worth a checkuser to see if a rangeblock would stop the new accounts. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 02:00, 3 July 2019 (UTC)

Seconded. Thanks for spotting this Pi.1415926535. Also: similar name to another blocked sock: Elevatorsarefun. → GS → ☎ → 08:07, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
I don't suppose a targeted IP block or a range block would be possible? This fellow needs a vacation. Mackensen (talk) 12:16, 3 July 2019 (UTC)
Same edits as before, with the "Added missing categories" edit summaries. Rangeblock needed. Cards84664 (talk) 13:45, 7 July 2019 (UTC)
@Liz: Can you please rangeblock this address? Their edits to categories and additions of unsourced info is still ongoing. Cards84664 (talk) 18:16, 8 July 2019 (UTC)

Added the exact same content to Perkasie station (diff) as AmtrakAcela2000 (diff) and NorfolkSouthern523 (diff), who are both accounts that were blocked for being sock puppets under the same master (The Train Master) in a previous SPI report. This user has already been indef'd and tagged; creating this SPI retroactively for documentation and record-keeping purposes. Will be set as 'closed' upon creation. ~Oshwah~(talk) (contribs) 00:43, 27 July 2019 (UTC)

@Sir Sputnik: The master and various socks share two editing habits, the addition of unsourced railroad trivia (Master & Sock), and the addition of excessive categories and other trivia to mall/retail articles. (Master & Sock). Note that 144.178.5.62 is now stale, but it may become active again later. Also pinging @Bradv:. Cards84664 (talk) 22:53, 6 October 2019 (UTC)

Per WP:DUCK. Username and editing pattern (singular interest in Philadelphia/NJ rail lines, train stations, and shopping places) are same as previous socks. Also, Draft:Go! Retail Group had to be protected from creation because of repeated recreation by The Train Master's prior socks and TheWanamakerBuilding has created a draft on the same topic at User:TheWanamakerBuilding/sandbox. The usual two interests: retail chains, and former rail services/stations in Pennsylvania. Pi.1415926535 (talk) 21:20, 6 September 2022 (UTC)
