- Suspected sockpuppets
This user had suspicious behavior jumping into the deep end of WP:RMCI and upon closer review learned that he was a confirmed by CU as a sock, and was blocked over at commons. Within the first 100 edits this user has jumped into WP:RM, WP:DR, WP:ANI, and WP:AfD. Requesting a block here for disruptive editing as well. Tiggerjay (talk) 01:24, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Additional concerning/suspicious actions by this editor (supporting experience beyond edit count)
- On 11th edit was create an ANI Report for an IP editor they never engaged with (ie no talk page messages, warning the IP, or reverting edits of the IP - totally uninvolved editors don't report at ANI)
- On 12th edited used Twinkle to warn an IP editor [1]
- 23rd edit was to jump in an going WP:DR, where he was subsequently warned about imporperly closing, a notice he subsequently blanked from his talk page
- Also blanked a warning about editing talk page comments.
- And
blanking blanking a bot generated notice about removing AfD Templates.
- Also removing a sock notice here.
These all seem to be very uncharacteristic actions of new users to the project, and combined with prior CU findings at commons appears to support that this user is still involved in SOCK activity and/or block evasion. Tiggerjay (talk) 01:24, 30 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
- User claims to want a WP:FRESHSTART however editing activity does not support the spirit or letter of FRESH-START, and is simply using wiki-language to justify actions when their actions do not show WP:Competance with regards to the policy they site -- including WP:FRESHSTART or the details of how to properly close WP:RMCI, etc., a basic reading of those policies illustrates this users disregard for the simple elements, without getting into the more complicated cases. A fresh start is not jumping into controversial areas and disruptive editing/closing/etc. While I respect not biting new users, as well as the fresh start process, this clearly looks like a duck. I tried to make a new account to get a fresh start on Wikipedia. I don't feel like I did anything wrong on my old account, and I also don't feel like I did anything wrong on my current account.
Tiggerjay (talk) has accused me of jumping in "to early" to Articles for Deletion, although as you can see, I have not edited AfD at all.]
I also only made one edit to ANI, and the user I reported was blocked
I understand the move request thing was partially my fault, but everything I did was in good faith, and I don't think I should be punished for productivity. - The claim regarding AfD was regarding your blanking of an AfD template, which you were warning about here about this edit however it is no longer a valid link because the target page was deleted.
- With regards your statement about a WP:FRESHSTART it would appear you are violating multiple provisions of that policy. Since you are introducing that as your rationale, please verify ALL accounts you have previously used to verify that those accounts are not subject to active bans, blocks or sanctions.
