Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Cote (film director) I think sums it all up. All the IP addresses (and Hbtz and LosAngelsbaby) have edited that AfD, all in some way pushing to keep the article, and all have only edited relating to this topic (recently). Impersonation[1], breaking AfD tags[2] and interesting moves[3] are just some of the tactics used in this AfD. I'm not going to give a diff of every single malicious edit, unless you want me to. It's all in the page history of the AfD / contribs.
TBH: it seems too obvious. I've requested checkuser to flush out any sleepers that may/may not exist
I should note that Davecoteproductions is already blocked and marked as a sockpuppet, I've included it here for completeness. [stwalkerster|talk] 11:53, 19 October 2010 (UTC)

This editor added more questionable claims to the affected article: [43] [44] —Tim Pierce (talk) 17:39, 19 October 2010 (UTC)
ArtMystery created Dave Cote immediately after an extended AfD for David Cote (film director), an article which was created by NickSoroka who was subsequently found to have several sock puppets in the discussion. —Tim Pierce (talk) 02:11, 22 October 2010 (UTC)

YesYesWow created Dave Cote, an article that has repeatedly been created and deleted by sock puppets and proxies of NickSoroka. —Tim Pierce (talk) 05:59, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
Just a bit of cleanup, Abconetwothree marked the article created by ArtMystery as reviewed and "looks good." No other edits made. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:01, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Confirmed, no sleepers. TNXMan 13:36, 2 November 2010 (UTC)
User:EveryThingSameSame recreated a previously deleted article by:
1) Completely deleting the content of another/valid article whose subject has the same first/last name of the previously socked subject, also used misleading edit-comments while doing so
2) Replacing the now-empty article-space with the content of the AfD'ed article

Confirmed
This is related to yet another re-creation of the deleted David Cote biography. Per TnXMan,
are likely matches to each other. I'm adding this to the NickSoroka SPI page at TnXMan's suggestion, to collect the info in one place.[45] I think no action is being requested other than archiving.
Further info: ANI thread.

The following comment from Tnxman307 is copied over from the ANI thread, from [46], for clarity (and to show a CU check took place) Chzz ► 15:06, 22 March 2011 (UTC)
Note: (to clerk?) - did the CU action here check for possible sleeper accounts? If not - given the background - I suggest that happens prior to archiving this. Thanks, Chzz ► 15:09, 22 March 2011 (UTC)

Recreation of a subject that has been declined multiple times with a long history of sockpuppetry, meatpuppetry and continued submissions under various names and titles. This AfC is a resurrection of a previous AfC, see AfC edit history. See also the AfD Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Cote (film director). Shearonink (talk) 19:36, 3 August 2011 (UTC)

Inserted a "Dave Cote" (sock's usual fare) spam-link into three different articles: David M. Cote owing to the similar name also a usual target of these sockpuppets but is the CEO of Honeywell, Nous - an article about a philosophical concept and Lou Albano. Other previous edits in edit history are all connected with the non-notable subject of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/David Cote (film director). Shearonink (talk) 13:00, 11 August 2011 (UTC)
