Hi there - My only account is this one Musicfanlondon - the other account you are referring to is my friend Ricky who is Themusicman123 - I put up the page for the allstars and ricky wanted to help and support by developing entries for each of the musicians. Neither of us is very technical so it all got a bit confusing when we started getting deletion messages and ricky asked for my help so I tried to figure out with him how to respond - hence my responding the same way on my own posts.

I have looked up sockpuppets and whilst I understand why our actions may have looked that way, we are two separate but likeminded individuals working out of the same office in London. I hope this clears up any confusion. In reading about defending against a claim of sockpuppetry, I found the explanation of 'meatpuppetry' and below that was a section on 'sharing an IP address' - I have copied the code to my user page as instructed on that page (although it looks a little messy as I'm not sure how to tidy it up yet) and I just wanted to check whether a: I have posted the code correctly and b: if this clears things up?

I have posted on TheMusicMan123's talk page asking him to reciprocate but know he probably won't see it there so will ask him to post the code on his profile in person tomorrow when he is around.

• CheckUser requested - Self-endorsed by clerk for checkuser attention Overall I'm interested to see what CU says. If the work thing was true, I find it hard to believe that they edit exclusively from work and there should be IP edits coming from other places too, or different useragents, etc. (though of course my thoughts probably can't be answered directly of course).
