User:Mrg3105 is subject to an ArbCom sanction (the Digwuren restriction) and has been blocked for short periods under it on three occasions for disruptive editing.[1] He was also subject to community imposed sanctions, which have since expired.

User:Shattered Wikiglass first edited in March 2008 and was used interchangably with Mrg3105 in March and April 2008 (although the connection was not detected). Shattered Wikiglass has become the only account since Mrg3105 ostensibly withdrew from editing last October. The two accounts have the same focus on Eastern Europe; a significant article overlap[2]; and the same pattern of disruptive behaviour.[3],[4] Shattered Wikiglass has now admitted to being Mrg3105 and using the account to evade the "idiotic Darwingian" (sic) restriction.[5]

I request that Shattered Wikiglass be indefinitely blocked as a sock of a restriction-evading sockpuppeteer and that the main account be blocked also. As the user has stated that he will continue to edit via IP addresses, I further request that Shattered Wikiglass be CU'd and the IP addresses noted for future reference.  Roger Davies ^talk 13:26, 15 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

However, at the time of filing, I was also a member of AUSC, and therefore considered it inappropriate to handle this myself. • This case is not ideal for SPI; I'm not sure why Roger (an arbitrator) would ask at SPI for a block for violating arbitration sanctions, except to begin to establish an SPI record of investigation (a reasonable goal). Given the admission, a check to confirm is unnecessary; a check intended to aid in future investigations is not the sort of action normally taken via SPI, but could be done by almost any member of ArbCom at their discretion .
