Suspected sockpuppets

New SPA IPs arose to defend Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Tim Smart (healthcare administrator). Suspected sockmaster and 86.140.3.24 both vote Keep, buttressing with similarly irrelevant explanations regards establishing notability, indicating a similar lack of understanding of how Wikipedia guidelines work. 86.161.191.177 also new SPA whose only edits are the topic and its AfD, and, like the other IP, posted sources into the AfD using ref tags rather than brackets[1][2] - so, the smell of duck is strong. IPs are English, so potential association with subject and COI. Pax 07:54, 19 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: I agree that the master was editing while not logged in. I also believe that the editing was abusive as it served to bolster the master's keep position at the AfD. However, neither the IPs nor the master has edited in a while, so blocks at this point would be of little or no value. The fairest thing in my view is to reopen the AfD. I will then remove the IP votes as socks of the master, and other editors can decide whether to keep the article. To that end, I've asked the non-admin who closed the discussion as keep to reopen. I'm closing this report without prejudice to being reopened if there is subsequent abuse.--Bbb23 (talk) 18:46, 28 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the re-open. On the history page of the discussion, I noticed a third likely sock IP, 86.169.3.185 , here. Pax 05:38, 18 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
