Adding serial commas to articles previously targeted by Hoggardhigh socks. ‖ Ebyabe talk - Attract and Repel ‖ 06:06, 24 September 2017 (UTC)
Clearly there is a misunderstanding about the definition of a serial comma. I did not add a serial comma. I added the comma required after a parenthetical. And the word hoogerhigh doesn't even mean anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2605:e000:35c6:c200:c522:44a:e109:f43f (talk • contribs)

Hi, I'm DatGoodDude342. I sincerely apologize for the addition of a serial comma. I was pretty sure that this was the correct thing to do, grammar-wise. I honestly didn't realize that I was doing anything wrong, and will refrain from doing this in the future. I am a fairly new addition to the Wikipedia community, and I'm still trying to learn about, well, everything. Please forgive me for my small mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by DatGoodDude342 (talk • contribs) 04:04, 14 November 2017 (UTC)

Same comma adding and edit pattern. For example, Jerry Pournelle and Pournelle chart. Also now appears to be tag teaming (one IP edits, a different IP edits right after which would make the initial edit less likely to be seen by the casual observer) ‖ Ebyabe talk - Union of Opposites ‖ 07:09, 18 February 2018 (UTC)

@Ebyabe: Please provide comparison diffs for each suspected sock and the master or blocked sock. The diffs should address both your comments about "similar edit summaries" and "same articles". Both of the suspected socks are years older than the master. At a glance, I see very similar edit summaries between the two suspected socks but not between them and the master/blocked socks.--Bbb23 (talk) 13:36, 11 March 2018 (UTC)
Same steadfast adherence to putting commas everywhere, despite the composition of the sentence. Robotically follows strictest interpretation of MOS and copies and pastes it, however not all sentences make sense if you put a comma behind every date for example. Also puts Oxford commas everywhere. General nuisance editing behavior and has ducked block dozens of times. I know this vandal largely through Ebyabe's diligent work. Regarding the puppetmaster, User talk:Hoggardhigh is replete with discussion about their forcing of the issue regarding the serial comma, with some individual edits listed but to give a few examples, see: [18], [19] and [20] (amongst numerous examples in that article's history, under that user name, other names and IPs, identified in rv edit summaries as being Hoggardhigh).
The IP sock made a series of Oxford comma insertions such edits at: [21]. [22], [23], [24] and [25], to name the most recent. They appear to have adopted a new strategy for the Nashville tuning article, i.e. the removal of the word "and" which they previously persisted in preceding with a serial comma: [26], [27]
