Suspected sockpuppets

Both did minor edits to existing articles, followed soon after by creation of a fully-developed article in a single edit. One [1] thanked the other, but their talk pages do not show any communication between the two. Both edited GarbleCard and KAIZEN Realty. Yanis ahmed's early edits were on a topic related to Bangladesh, and his user page all but said he was in Sylhet, Bangladesh [2]; User:Eragon.raju says he too is in Bangladesh. The likelihood that two unconnected editors in Bangladesh would by happenstance edit the same article about a New York City real estate company is minuscule; that they both also edited an article about an obscure piece of computer hardware is also unlikely. Even if one assumes that they are two different people who were hired to edit, why would they share clients if they are not collaborating? Evidence about timing is difficult to present because articles were deleted, but both accounts were created since the beginning of this year, one in March and the other in April.

These two accounts were named by Stalwart111 in the Morning277 SPI, but the report was closed with the comment "unlikely to be Morning277 socks/meats." References named with a two-letter capitalized abbreviation, seen in one article, are characteristic of Morning277. —rybec 16:42, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I created this with an extraneous space in the title. —rybec 18:34, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

These two accounts are both connected to paid editors. However, each account is connected to a different paid editing account (on the site) that has been bidding against the other on some jobs. That said, I suspect at least collaboration between them, as one of the jobs was won by one of the editors, but started by the other. Sharing clients is not unusual at the moment, as I'm seeing a few clients hiring multiple editors, or hiring a second editor after the first fails to meet the job requirements, but I don't recall any sign of that in this case - I'll go back through my notes and see if there is a chance that they were hired together, just to clear that up.
My guess wasn't that this was a case of Morning277, so much as collaboration and possible sockpuppetry from at least one different paid editor. If it does prove to be a Morning277 account, then this points to an interesting change of procedure, and something that might be worth following up with the freelancer site, but I find it fairly unlikely in this case. Note that I cannot link directly to their accounts, as they appear to use their real names, so outing comes into play. - Bilby (talk) 23:29, 8 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Just as a bit more - hopefully it is some use. The KAIZEN Realty contract was awarded to three people. Two weren't paid, but of the two here, only Eragon.raju was hired to work on it, even though both editors made changes. It is possible that Yanis ahmed was hired in a private arrangement, but I think it just as likely that they collaborated. For GarbleCard, only Yanis ahmed was hired, but Eragon.raju created the article before both worked on it. So it does look like they at least collaborated very closely.
In regard to the Morning277 connection, the article with the Morning277-style references can be tracked back to a specific contract. That asked for someone to return a deleted page, originally created by Morning277. It looks like Yanis ahmed was hired by Morning277's original client, and was given the article originally created by Morning277. So in this case I'd say not a Morning277 sockpuppet/meatpuppet. However, the two accounts are controlled by one person or two people in close collaboration (I'm leaning to the latter). - Bilby (talk) 02:33, 9 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
