Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by Rangoon11
[edit]

Based upon their editing behaviour over the past couple of days I suspect that both VHarris44 and Derekspage are sock accounts of the 'retired' Codf1977. I suspect that both accounts were created at around the time that Codf1977 posted a retired message on their userpage. VHarris44, despite being a brand new account, has shown considerable skill in navigating Wikipedia. They claim to have seen details of a university that I have studied at in the past by looking at my talk page. In reality this information had been deleted from the page before their account was created. VHarris44 seems to have been created purely to challenge edits that I have made to articles, the account has made no constructive contributions to any articles and has been wholly provocative. The Derekspage account has emerged at virtually the same time. Although the behaviour of that account has so far been considerably more restrained, based upon the timing and nature of edits by that account I strongly suspect that it is controlled by the same person. A little bit more background on this saga is recorded here: Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents#Derekspage and VHarris44. Rangoon11 (talk) 15:40, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

See Defending yourself against claims.

Not really that surprising that Rangoon11 (talk · contribs · count · api · block log) chose to file a SPI on me given it was me that filed the one on him/her - Bad faith, tit-for-tat filing. My only account is this one, the only times I have ever edited from an IP is when I have done so by mistake when logged out and have corrected it. Codf1977 (talk) 09:25, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

With all the non-relations, I don't think there's much left to do. Marking for close. TNXMan 11:48, 28 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
