Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by PeeJay2K3

User:Bruninho has opposed my changes to Gerard Piqué and Jordi Cruyff to remove the "FC" from "FC Barcelona". Following admin intervention by User:EdJohnston, another account (User:Mauricy) emerged to revert my edits to Jordi Cruyff after a six-month absence from the site, which struck me as suspicious. It is my belief, based on editing patterns, that User:Bruninho is using User:Mauricy as a sockpuppet or possible meatpuppet to avoid a 3RR warning/block. Please be aware that my original edits were compliant with established consensus (see here and here). Furthermore, you should also be aware that User:Bruninho speaks very little English and often communicates with other users through User:NothingButAGoodNothing, who acts as a translator from Bruninho's native Portuguese.

It does look very likely that Bruninho and Mauricy are the same person, as PeeJay suggests. It may be worth mentioning that I have had similar issues with Bruninho reverting against consensus, him refusing to discuss changes on talk pages or in edit summaries, and him basically having a bad case of WP:OWN. --JonBroxton (talk) 04:00, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Supplementary comment: it seems as though Bruninho is also using an IP address to continue with his issue - [[1]]. He's done this before (check the IP talk page). The WHOIS lookup for this account shows it to be in Brazil. --JonBroxton (talk) 16:40, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I posted tags for suspected Sockpuppetry to the three involved accounts mentioned so far. As an uninvolved editor/admin, who reads Portuguese, it does look suspicios that all these accounts revert similar postings in similar articles. Let's wait on Checkuser but it does look suspicious to me, so I posted the Sock tags. -- Alexf(talk) 00:54, 16 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's extremely likely that all three accounts are socks of indef blocked user Bruno P. Dori (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · spi block · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki). — Satori Son 14:24, 17 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Since I have little evidence other than editing patterns, I wish to make certain that User:Bruninho and User:Mauricy are, indeed, the same person. – PeeJay 00:24, 14 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I attest to PeeJay's comments, having no reason not to believe his judgments regarding the Mauricy sockpuppetry (of which i had no previous knowledge), it is 100% true.

Suspected sockpuppets

Evidence submitted by Satori Son

Bruniho, orignally Bruno P. Dori, has, over the last ten months, used at least 4 usernames and 60+ IP accounts to evade blocks and edit war on dozens of South American football articles. For more information, see:

The most recently confirmed sock, Lavotanovo, was blocked on July 21. This new account, Fleshly, was created and began making substantially similar edits five hours later. — Satori Son 16:59, 7 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
