BlaccCrab, who declared he lived in Maryland on his talk page while an active editor, is currently editing from this Maryland IP address. BlaccCrab was well known for editing hip hop and rock music topics and declaring what is a "full single" and what was not, and that is this IP editor's entire edit history. The number-one give away here is BlaccCrab's attempts to retain the article for Less Than Jake band member Chris DeMakes article for years. Reverting changes to the article in 2014 using the BlaccCrab account, in 2015 on BlaccCrab. Then on Chris Demakes (note the lower-case 'm') in 2020 on this IP address, also in 2020 edit-warring to retain the article on the reported IP. BlaccCrab was an editor of hip hop articles a few years ago with a terrible attitude who couldn't help insulting people who reverted their unsourced edits. They were also a big Ty Dolla Sign and Dierks Bentley fan, as evidenced by their edits under BlaccCrab starting articles for both musicians' work. In my experience, it's quite rare to come across a hip hop editor who also cares about country music artists, and here we have Yayareabomb uploading a cover art for a Ty Dolla Sign song soon after registering (and without using the Upload Wizard, so definitely not a newbie) and editing Bentley's articles [1], [2].

One of BlaccCrab's main occupations was deciding what was a single versus what was a "promotional" single, and he got into quite a few heated exchanges with myself and other editors over it, like here. Look at who's reclassifying singles years after they've been released but Yayareabomb [3]. Also, BlaccCrab had exactly the same reaction to people leaving messages on their talk page as Yayareabomb does... [4]. BlaccCrab also extensively edited Gucci Mane discography, and it was one of the last things they argued about before their block [5], [6]... now Yayareabomb is racking up the edits to it too [7], [8], [9]. The attitude and exact same use of phrases like "it literally is" in edit summaries when reverting editors is exactly the same.

BlaccCrab also appears to have registered as Yayareabomb after being reverted while using their previously blocked IP address (by @Sro23:) 173.69.153.170 to add unsourced and then poorly sourced information to Heidi Swedberg here. Not coincidence to me that Yayareabomb was registered as an account 14 minutes later. They haven't used the IP to edit since November, when editing on Yayareabomb really ramped up. IP geolocates to Maryland, where BlaccCrab stated on their userpage they lived. Making edits to hip hop articles with the same snarky attitude as BlaccCrab in edit summaries, and editing Dierks Bentley articles, which BlaccCrab was known to frequent (just see the edit history of Black (Dierks Bentley album) and BlaccCrab's extensive edits to it and this IP's three recent edits to the same article). For an IP editor to still be editing an article for a 2016 country album in 2023 and not be the same editor that made 50 edits to it years ago would be too big of a coincidence for me to believe. This editor is well known for not being able to stay away from the topic area they frequented as a registered editor—BlaccCrab's last edits before being blocked were to Gucci Mane articles (a revert of me), which they just reverted me on today. IP editor has also edited Mike Will Made It production discography, which BlaccCrab made a number of edits to, and Mustard production discography, which BlaccCrab kept "updated", and this IP has done too. I can certainly see what Ss112 is getting at here. BlaccCrab has been block evading for years and the cross-section of interests is distinct. I concur. Not quite comfortable with a DUCK block, but this is certainly very suspicious. Based on what I have seen I'd call this a highly probable case of block evasion.
