Riprowan[edit]

Explanation: It appears that the MadSquirrel and Riprowan user accounts have only one purpose, to make sure Rip Rowan's web site article is linked to one WP article called the "Loudness war" (please, see their contributions). First of all, the link is to a blog article that was previously deleted for that reason, and second, its re-insertion by the author violates WP guidelines because an article's author can not post his own link to reference it to a WP article. Especially if he owns the site where the article is. This user has cost a lot of disruption to the talk page already with long threads of comments. A new RfC was requested, but MadSquirrel unilaterally has already re-inserted the aforesaid external link without reaching a general consensus (see: supporting evidence #5). Prior to all this, he reverted the deletion of the link to this article 3 times using most likely an anon IP sock to avoid 3RR violation (see: supporting evidence #2#3&#4). Riprowan and MadSquirrel have been making disrupting comments to create support in favor of keeping that said external link (see: [1][2]) . MadSquirrel is obviously a one purpose account that looks like Rowan's sock puppet. Evinatea 13:37, 10 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Please format this appropriately. For a perfect example of how the Supporting Evidence section should look, see Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Legacy7. --Deskana (talk) 01:31, 11 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
