User:Elvisandhismagicpelvis was blocked last week for running a sockfarm - Wikipedia:Suspected_sock_puppets/Elvisandhismagicpelvis. I strongly suppect that Metternech (talk · contribs) is the latest attempt to get around the ban. This person has a long history of pushing his/her POV that Rugby league is "football" despite talk to the contrary on the debate here Talk:Sport_in_Australia#rugby_league_football. As usual this editor likes to state that anyone not agreeing with them is a vandal. See the comments on this edit as an example. Could an admin please confirm/deny that this is the user getting around yet another ban. Thanks. Tancred 16:55, 24 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: Changed code from B to G as there is no arbcom case (or community ban), but the user feels a check is needed. Kwsn(Ni!) 05:11, 25 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Additional information needed. Please provide more information as to why you think a check is required, such as diffs linking their behaviour together. Quite a lot of people call people that disagree with them vandals, that alone is nothing unusual. --Deskana (apples) 16:16, 26 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Dunno if this helps, but a previous request involving elvis is archived here: Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Tomasthetankengine. Kwsn(Ni!) 03:52, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
