During a revert war dealing with whether or not Daniel Brandt should be able to post comments about his own biography on the talk page of said article, a new user popped out of nowhere to delete the comment twice [1] [2] when DennyColt (the user most vigorously opposion the idea of DB posting there) had used up his 3 reversions [3][4][5]. Given the extreme sensitivity of the article in question, the use of sockpuppets in such a case would be extremely inappropriate and possible disruptive to Wikipedia. Users have been notified [6][7].

- I'm a sockpuppet, but not of DennyColt. I'd rather Brandt not put me up on his website. MisterHamburger 19:40, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
- Given the history of the Brandt article this is a highly credible explanation, SqueakBox 19:47, 28 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
