Delete No element of this story from Augusto Giovanni Bartoli forward can be confirmed in reliable sources. This is probably a hoax and the author ought to be blocked for persistent disruptive behavior. Chris Troutman (talk) 19:28, 24 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Weak delete - This appears to be an attempt to game the system as an end run around AFD for the main article. On the other hand, the deletion standards for MFD should be much stricter than AFD. Comment The draft 'pre-dates' the creation of the first Bartoli family page but only by a few minutes. There is nothing that is 'centuries old' because as far as we can tell it never existed. The author, having been notified of deletion discussions on en.wiki and at commons, has not defended their work as yet. It is for them to demonstrate that it is genuine.
