  • I do not see any "highly specific and objective criteria for inclusion". This is a case of creating a category before writing an article about it and it should really be the other way around.     we have numerous categories here that do not have an anchor article to accompany it. an anchor article might be one valid basis for creating a category; it has never been asserted as a mandatory criteria or prerequisite for creating a category. --Sm8900 (talk) 20:47, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Nominator's rationale: I propose upmerging this to parent Category:Unexplained phenomena. Reasons. 1) It's unclear what is the difference between mystery (disambig) and unexplained phenomena (red link). 2) Cat-about states "The main article for this category is Mysteries.", pointing to said disambig, and aside from specific links to movies and such, the only more generic article linked from that is Sacred mysteries. Which is obviously too narrow. Obviously, some sort of category (and main article) are needed, but one should be enough. Splitting mysteries from 'unexplained phenomena' is just pointless creation of poorly defined related entities, category POVFORKs.
