The purpose of Category:German Army (1935–1945) personnel was to serve as the main parent category for Category:German Army personnel of World War II, Category:German Army (1935–1945) soldiers and Category:German Army (1935–1945) officers. The two former categories are supposed to be separate; the first includes those who served in the German Army during the Nazi regime at some point, while the second includes those who specifically served in WW2.
