- Redirect to Tohono Oʼodham Indian Reservation, where this former community is (with mention there). Wickchoupai was a former village or pueblo of the Pueblo people of southern Arizona, now known as the Tohono Oʼodham. I don't believe anyone lives there now, but it was listed as a native pueblo in a 1934 Supreme Court case and had previously been the subject of some 1920s archaeological investigations. This former native site has been noted in historic (White people) documents, but the published references in the English-speaking world don't amount to much, and the Tohono O'odham are an oral people. There isn't enough to write a stand-alone article, likely due in part to Eurocentric attitudes in the early 20th Century, but redirects are cheap, and the Wikipedia reader deserves to know this place once existed. - Redirect to Tohono Oʼodham Indian Reservation or Delete. I'm fairly certain that being mentioned in a database like FIPS does not make this locale legally recognized, for discussion, see Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Tunnel_Inn,_California, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wa-Will-Away Park, Indiana, Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Shaniko_Junction,_Oregon. I don't think #1 of WP:GEOLAND (Populated, legally recognized places) is met. We could debate FIPS over at Wikipedia talk:Notability (geographic features). [1] is a trivial mention. "non-trivial coverage by their name in multiple, independent reliable sources" of WP:GEOLAND #2 (Populated places without legal recognition) is not met. I've run in to the issue of notability surrounding Indigenous Peoples places, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Astakiwi, California.
