Weak keep: there's some indication that the author is notable (see e.g. [1]), which would be considerably strengthened if the claim to be a bestselling author can be verified. However, I agree with the nom that as it stands, the article is an obvious WP:COATRACK and needs considerable work. Scog (talk) 08:09, 27 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. The New Straits Times says he's a "best-selling scribe" [2]; Bernama says he's a "renowned Islamic children's book author" [3]; if reliable sources say he's notable, then he's notable for Wikipedia.
