Yes, the author is notable (but see WP:INHERITED) and yes, the book exists (but see Wikipedia:Existence ≠ Notability); what I was not able to find was evidence of its having been the non-trivial subject of discussion in multiple independent reliable published sources. The article as it stands has none, and a Google search turned up only repeated instances of the book, not meaningful discussion of it. It looks like an editor may have decided that every book Burrows wrote warranted a Wikipedia article, which is a misunderstanding of how notability works. - Strong Keep The Barsoom series as a whole is clearly notable, if 8 or 9 of the books are notable it makes sense to keep pages on all of them. I would also support an attempt to Merge it into the Barsoom article, but that article is a morass I'm not willing to touch. Power~enwiki (talk) 06:11, 8 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- Keep found the following on Google Scholar: Abstract (does anyone have full-text access to this?), [1], [2] (again, no full text). Otherwise, a merge to Barsoom is preferred by WP:ATD-M, since it's a clearly real story collection set in a notable fictional universe. Jclemens (talk) 02:50, 12 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
