I wrote this article, originally, almost two years ago. It was more or less original research at the time. Now it's worse: it's turned into a list of journeymen, which is of course a rather subjective judgment. Of course, an article could be written about the use of the term by sportswriters, but it would have to be sourced (and something more than just a definition), and this isn't it.
