Suspected hoax. Hoax tag was removed twice by 69.120.38.103 (talk · contribs) without comment. As I explained on the article talk page, the article has no references and I find much of the information in it suspect. It states he was awarded the Medal of Honor, but he does not appear on the Army's list of recipients. Google searches for "James Campbell MacPherson" and "James Campbell McPherson" (it is spelled both ways in the article) results in one hit each, one the wikipedia article itself, and the other a Canadian university's alumni site. Also no non-wikipedia Google hits on his book titles, McPherson's Fact on the Death Disease and My Life:James McPherson. jwillbur^talk 15:58, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

• Delete along with other unreferenced articles created by same author ( Marxus (talk · contribs) ) who has recently created a flurry of unreferenced articles such as Stanley Lane and Harold F.
