No primary nor secondary references are properly cited. One reference is a wikilink. 2 references are bible verses. The rest are Quran references which dont even have the names cain nor abel. In other words, this is an uncited article. This article was created by a notoriously disruptive editor, (check his talk page). This article consists 100% of original research. The article creator has agreed to the deletion of all sites redirected and merged in Biblical figures in Islamic tradition here [1] Someone65 (talk) 09:28, 21 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

While the article may be poorly sourced it appears that there is some indication that there are Islamic views on Cain and Abel. Although they are not mentioned by name in the Qur'an sura 5:27–31 they are referenced as the sons of Adam. The murder is also mentioned in Sahih al-Bukhari, 9:83:6 where Cain is called Qabil. A search for Cain, Abel and Islam would indicate that there are Muslim opinions on the two. I would also point out that the inclusion or deletion should not be based on a person being named in the Qur'an, nor on the fact that there may be some disagreement between Sunni or Shia.
