This is literally a copy-and-paste job of Chesapeake, Virginia#History. This article has been up since 2009 and no substantial improvements have been made on it since then. There aren't even any references to its name. There's nothing to suggest that Chesapeake's history is long and expansive enough to warrant its own article. • Redirect back to Chesapeake, Virginia#History. It's fine to split off sections of an article in order to implement summary style, but that obviously isn't happening here since the section in the main article is identical to the subarticle. And since the main Chesapeake article isn't long enough to need a split anyway (see WP:SPLITSIZE), there's no apparent reason why a subarticle is necessary at this time.
